Frequently Asked Questions

Is an hourly rate cheaper than a fixed price?
Other companies that offer you one flat rate calculate your price based on the maximum amount of time that it might take to move you including driving to and from the their Depot so it will always be dearer then a company that charges by the hour.

HAPPY MOVERS only charges an hourly rate which starts at your door and finishes when our movers finish unpacking at your new destination. Also with HAPPY MOVERS we will let you help pack and unpack smaller items onto the truck thus also keeping down the price.

What are the conditions of your hourly rate?
We charge a 2 hour minimum which starts when we arrive at your door and 15 minute increments after the first 2 hours.

What size moves do you do?
We have both large trucks and small trucks including a Utility with a cage for those smaller moves. We cater for all moves from just a few items into storage or large Office’s/ House’s.

Can I get a discount?
For all returning customers we give a 10% discount. Otherwise we recommend that you move from Monday to Saturday during business hours to get the cheapest rate.

I can get a cheaper rate?
